Arachnoiditis

Arachnoiditis, is also known as spinal arachnoiditis or adhesive arachnoiditis. It is a rare progressive neuroinflammatory disease. Arachnoiditis means inflammation of the arachnoid, which is the middle lining of the three linings that cover the brain and spinal cord. This inflammation can cause the formation of scar tissue and adhesions, which is why it’s often called adhesive arachnoiditis.
